Seeking to Hire Senior Financial Analyst to Support Route 2 Capital Partners’ Growing Firm

Route 2 Capital Partners actively seeks to hire an investment professional with strong credit, communication, and analytical skills, financial modeling proficiency, a positive work ethic, and a track record of success to join as Senior Analyst. The challenging and dynamic role of Senior Analyst is an integral part of our growing team and focuses, primarily, on new deal execution and portfolio management.

New deal execution: Pre-close, the Senior Analyst supports the deal team in the investment selection and execution processes, including screening new deal materials, researching industry and regulatory trends, analyzing operational budgets, building detailed financial models, creating investment memorandums, and participating in accounting and legal diligence.

Portfolio management: Post-close, the Senior Analyst participates in ongoing investment and portfolio management, including analyzing monthly financial statement packages, maintaining up-to-date tracking and covenant compliance models, and providing continued due diligence and support to the team to ensure that our return objectives are achieved.

The Senior Analyst is a highly motivated, critical thinker with 1 – 3 years of post-undergraduate experience in accounting, leveraged lending, investment banking, private equity, or consulting. This role also demonstrates the following:

· Team-oriented, entrepreneurial attitude · Proven ability with credit and financial analysis · Strong written and oral communication skills · Knowledge of financial instruments and deal processes · Demonstrated proficiency with financial modeling and database research · Comprehensive skill in evaluating investment opportunities · Capabilities in business development and a willingness to travel.
