Route 2 Capital Partners (“R2CP”) is pleased to announce that Reliance Aircraft International, LLC (“RAI”), an entity formed by Alturus Capital Partners, R2CP, Andrew Cohen, and Terry Hix, has completed a strategic investment in Reliance Aircraft International, Inc. This transaction provides substantial growth opportunities for RAI to purchase assets under its Commercial and Military aircraft platform strategies, as well as secures additional capital for expansion into new product lines and the purchase of other entities possessing synergistic and common values of RAI. RAI is an aftermarket Commercial and Military Airframe/Engine spare parts supply company. RAI was founded in 2011 as a reseller, supplier and distributor of spare Boeing, Airbus, CFM, GE, Rolls Royce and Pratt & Whitney aircraft and engine parts to the worldwide Aircraft Aftermarket Parts industry. RAI acquires its inventory either by purchasing aircraft for disassembly or through lot packages. RAI has purchased and disassembled over 30 aircraft since December 2011, ranging from the 767-300, 757-200, 747-400, 737 Classic and NG, MD80, A300-600, A310, and A320 aircraft platforms.
